In this 3hr hands-on workshop you will learn about and make various electric circuits such as Morse code machines, burglar alarms, magic wands and motorised cars. Everything you build you will take home!

Foundational knowledge about how electricity and simple circuits work is important but regularly forgotten about in this modern world of touchscreens and disposable devices.

We’ll be using hot glue guns, wood and probably lots of sticky tape to help hold our contraptions together!

If you enjoy making things, and sometimes breaking things too, then this workshop is for you!

Please bring food, drinks and a hat for morning / afternoon tea breaks. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop at the ANSTO Discovery Centre.
